Chira Walls is a brand operated by Mireki Works Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our"). We operate the online store at chirawalls.shop (the "Store"), which is hosted on the Shopify platform.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and disclose your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase through the Store, or otherwise communicate with us. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service.

We collect and process the following categories of personal information, depending on how you interact with us:

  • Payment information: payment card details, transaction references, and order confirmation data. Payment processing is handled securely by Razorpay and we do not store your full card details.
  • Order and transaction data: items you view, add to cart, or purchase; your order history; and any returns or replacement requests.
  • Account information: if you create an account, your username, password, and preferences.
  • Communications: messages you send us via email, WhatsApp, or contact forms.
  • Device and usage data: your IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, and how you interact with the Store. This is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.


2. How We Collect Your Information

We collect personal information from the following sources:

  • Directly from you, when you place an order, create an account, fill out a form, or contact us.
  • Automatically, through the Store and cookies, when you browse or interact with our pages. This includes data collected via the Meta Pixel for advertising purposes.
  • From our service providers, including Shopify (platform and analytics), Razorpay (payments), and Meta (advertising).


3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • Order fulfilment: to process your payment, produce your piece, arrange delivery, and handle any replacements or queries related to your order.
  • Customer communication: to send you order confirmations, shipping updates, and respond to your queries.
  • Marketing: to send you promotional emails or show you advertisements, including on Meta platforms, based on your browsing and purchase behaviour. You may opt out at any time (see Section 7).
  • Store improvement: to understand how customers use the Store and improve our products, content, and experience.
  • Security and fraud prevention: to protect the Store and our customers from fraudulent or unauthorised activity.
  • Legal compliance: to comply with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA), and to respond to valid legal requests.


4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as necessary to operate the Store:

  • Shopify: our e-commerce platform, which hosts the Store and processes certain data on our behalf. Shopify's own privacy policy applies to data it processes. You can learn more at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
  • Razorpay: our payment processor. Your payment data is handled by Razorpay under their privacy policy.
  • Qikink: our print and fulfilment partner. Your name and delivery address are shared with Qikink solely to produce and ship your order.
  • Meta: we use Meta Pixel to track Store activity and serve targeted advertisements. Meta processes this data under its own data policy.
  • Legal authorities: where required by law, court order, or valid legal process.
  • Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of Mireki Works Pvt. Ltd., your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.


5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to enable core Store functionality, remember your preferences, and collect usage data for analytics and advertising. This includes the Meta Pixel, which tracks activity on our Store to help us run and measure our ad campaigns. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect Store functionality.


6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in this Policy, unless a longer period is required by law. Order data is typically retained for a minimum of 3 years for accounting and legal compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 7).


7. Your Rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) and other applicable Indian law, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Right to access: you may request a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to correction: you may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure: you may request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Right to withdraw consent: where we process data based on your consent (e.g., marketing emails), you may withdraw that consent at any time.
  • Right to opt out of marketing: you can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe link in any email we send. We may still send transactional emails related to your orders.

8. Children's Data

The Store is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with their personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss. Payments are processed via Razorpay using industry-standard encryption. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.


10. Third-Party Links

The Store may contain links to third-party websites, including our social media pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before sharing any personal information with them.


11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Store, or applicable law. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Store after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
